Moderna’s existing facility in Norwood, MA was expanded to increase production of its COVID-19 vaccine by 50%.  Production and laboratory space was expanded from 300,000 sf to 650,000 sf. Operation Warp Speed was a federal effort that supported multiple COVID-19 vaccine candidates to speed development.
