DECCO announced that Mike DiBacco, Executive Vice President, will retire effective April 17, concluding a distinguished career spanning nearly 40 years in the construction industry.
Mike joined DECCO in 2021, bringing with him a reputation for exceptional leadership, deep industry expertise, and a proven ability to guide large‑scale construction operations. With nearly two decades of experience in the life sciences market across New England, Mike helped advance DECCO’s position as a premier mechanical and process piping contractor in one of the region’s most demanding and highly regulated sectors.
Throughout his tenure, Mike played a pivotal role in elevating the performance and capabilities of DECCO’s Construction group. His leadership strengthened project execution, enhanced operational efficiency, and shaped a culture committed to quality, safety, and client service. Mike’s expertise helped drive organizational growth and reinforce DECCO’s long-standing reputation for service excellence.
In addition to his work within DECCO, Mike has been an active contributor to the broader construction community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) NH/VT Chapter.
As part of this leadership transition, Brian Meldrum was recently promoted to Vice President of Construction. Brian brings more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry and has been employed with DECCO since 2001, most recently serving as a Project Executive. He has spent the majority of his career in project management, leading complex projects across the life sciences, utilities, and specialty manufacturing industries.
In the months leading up to Mike’s retirement, the two leaders have worked closely to ensure a smooth and comprehensive handoff. Brian’s deep industry knowledge, long‑standing client relationships, and familiarity with DECCO’s culture and operational standards position him well to lead the Construction group into its next chapter.
“Mike’s leadership has been instrumental in strengthening our Construction group and positioning DECCO for continued success,” said Kyle Reagan, DECCO’s Chief Executive Officer. “We are grateful for his dedication, professionalism, and commitment to our clients and our employee-partners. We are equally confident in Brian’s ability to build upon that foundation as Vice President of Construction.”
DECCO extends its sincere appreciation to Mike for his contributions and leadership and congratulates Brian on his well‑deserved promotion.
