DECCO is proud to announce that Darlene Watkins has joined the team as Controller, bringing with her over two decades of strategic financial leadership across diverse industries, including energy, education, and corporate services.
Darlene’s career spans roles such as Vice President of Accounting & Finance, Corporate Controller, and most recently, Controller at PurposeEnergy LLC, where she led financial operations for a mission-driven renewable energy company. Her expertise includes multi-entity financial management, ERP system implementation, multi-state tax compliance, and aligning finance with organizational strategy.
She holds an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University and a BBA in Accounting from UMass Amherst. Darlene is also a QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor and has served on multiple advisory committees, including Bellwether Community Credit Union.
