Project Description
The DECCO team was recently part of a unique program at Rentschler Biopharma SE in Milford, Massachusetts. Careful execution was required to place a 14,500-liter AWFI (Ambient Water for Injection) storage vessel safely. The 18.25-foot x 7.41-foot tank was intricately maneuvered through a 7.6-foot square roof opening with the help of a 100-ton crane with a 260-foot boom. The tank feet were squared to the I-beams and anchored using chemical anchors, SS rod, and fasteners. The tanks store water for injection so it may be fed to the distribution skid, which pumps the water into the loop piping that DECCO has installed throughout the facility, allowing it to feed various pieces of equipment supporting the production process, including cleaning, flushing, and manufacturing. Watch our team at work!
