MA Licensed Pipefitters

Position Summary

As a licensed pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems that are used to transport water, steam, air, and other liquids and gases. You will need to have a strong understanding of boiler codes and regulations and be able to read technical drawings and blueprints.

  • Independent and detailed orientated with a strong mechanical aptitude
  • 3+ years of pipefitting experience
  • Apply trade knowledge and follow installation guidelines.
  • Read and understand blueprints, submittals, and other job documentation.
  • Take ownership of assigned jobs and duties.
  • Pass a drug screening
  • Regular attendance including being present and punctual for scheduled work hours
  • Comply with DECCO Safety and Quality Standards
  • Comply with state and local standards and good manufacturing practices
  • Comply with DECCO construction standards and protocols

 

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma and 3+ years of relevant industry experience
Language Skills: Basic command of English vocabulary
Mathematical Skills: As required for pipefitting
Reasoning Ability: Problem-solving capability
Computer Skills: As required
Certs, Licenses, Registrations: Valid Massachusetts Pipefitters license, OSHA 10
Other Skills and Abilities: N/A

Physical Demands

As related to industrial construction work with the ability to stand, squat, bend, climb, stoop and lift up to 80 pounds.

Work Environment

Construction work in industrial and commercial environments. Must wear the necessary PPE when required and have reliable transportation to travel as needed to different project sites.
