DECCO RECEIVES INDUSTRY HONOR
National Award Recognizes Safety Excellence

Brookline NH -- DECCO, Inc., an industry leader in mechanical and process-related contracting, has received its sixth consecutive Platinum STEP award from Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), Massachusetts Chapter. Safety Training and Evaluation Program (STEP) awards are presented to those companies recognized as having an outstanding commitment to jobsite safety.

DECCO maintains a rigorous jobsite safety program with ongoing training for field trades and supervisors. The company’s emphasis on safe work practices not only benefits employees, but DECCO clients as well through better performance and reduction in unanticipated costs.

The safety awards are based on multiple components, including man-hours worked, management supervision, safety data reported on OSHA logs, and certifications. The Platinum STEP includes a zero fatality rate and no repeat willful violations over the previous three years.
